Press Release 1
VNPF has experienced approximately 30 social media posts since 29th November 2019. There has been a lot of unauthorized information disclosed to the public through various Facebook pages.
As General Manager, I would like to inform all Funds’ Members as well as members of the Public that those posts on Facebook are misleading. The purpose of the posts was to discredit and create doubts regarding VNPF and its management.
Yumi Toktok Stret News never contacted me for comments before they published information; instead they rely on fake people who feed them with misleading information to tarnish my name, VNPF board members, and VNPF staff. I call upon YTS administrators to directly contact me for comments in the future and not relying on deceptive information to discredit VNPF. YTS News should at least follow the basic rules of journalism.
I would like to express my concern about the attacks perpetrated on Social media platforms which instigated lots of negative comments, insults, and abusive languages.
I am informing Members that 2017 and 2018 VNPF accounts have been audited. A post from Facebook requesting release of 2019 audited financial report but 2019 financial accounts will be audited after December 2019 and that will be on the next 4 months of 2020.
I will start releasing press statements to respond to all the following issues:
- Annual interest
- All VNPF investments and their returns in the past 5 years
- 2017 and 2018 Operational expenses and their audited accounts
- Total amount of members contributions
- VNPF Current financial status
I would like to inform Members who have questions to directly email me on Parmod.Achary@vnpf.com.vu, send their questions via VNPF Voice Facebook Account and/or come directly in VNPF and meet with me for a discussion. I kindly ask that you use your VNPF ID whenever you correspond with me.
